Earlier this year, we were entrusted with a comprehensive and highly complex property cleanout in Newport Beach, where a homeowner faced a significant and time-sensitive transition. Years of accumulated belongings—ranging from heavy electronics and industrial shelving to mountains of cardboard boxes and miscellaneous debris—had overtaken the property. With the home recently sold and only days left before the handoff to new owners, the client turned to HAUL PROS for fast, professional, and reliable support.

From day one, this project presented multiple layers of complexity. The basement had suffered from a long-standing water leak, resulting in hazardous mold that required our team to wear full protective gear to ensure a safe working environment. In addition, much of the removal work involved transporting heavy items up multiple flights of stairs—adding to the time and effort required.

After a thorough walk-through and detailed consultation with the client, we provided a clear, transparent estimate and a realistic timeline. With the plan approved, we immediately got to work.

Day 1: We began with the dismantling and eco-conscious disposal of all metal shelving and related materials, ensuring they were properly recycled and diverted from landfills.

Day 2: We removed all cardboard and miscellaneous trash, hauling and responsibly discarding several truckloads.

Day 3: Our team focused on safely extracting and transporting more than three truckloads of professional-grade electronics—many of which were heavy, custom-built components from the client’s career as an electrical and mechanical engineer. These items were carefully delivered to a certified electronics recycling facility.

Day 4: We conducted a final clean-up and thorough walk-through to ensure the home was completely cleared and ready for the new owners. In total, over 10 tons of materials were removed in just four days, with a dedicated three-person team on-site each day.
